
State Police in DuBois have released additional details on the one-vehicle crash that closed a portion of I80 in Union Township of Jefferson County Thursday.
Police say the crash occurred when the driver, a 35-year-old Michael Morehouse of Shippensburg, fell asleep while operating a semi-truck traveling east on I80 in the left lane. Troopers say Morehouse lost control of the vehicle which then stuck a guide rail, then an embankment, and overturned onto its side.
Morehouse sustained injuries of unknown severity and was transported to Penn Highlands Brookville by Jefferson County EMS.
Morehouse was cited and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

An Indiana woman faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon and other related charges following an incident Friday night in Armstrong Township of Indiana County.
Police say an argument between 46-year-old Deidre Richards and a 47-year-old Indiana man at a home along Sylvan Acres Road turned violent as she reportedly hit him multiple times with a hammer.
She was lodged in Indiana County Jail in lieu of monetary bail.

State Route 119 is closed from the intersection of Rock Run Road in Bell Township to the intersection of Caroline Street in Big Run Borough due to multiple vehicle accident at the intersection of Smyers Street in Big Run.
According to Jefferson County Fire Wire, Big Run, Sykesville, and Elk Run fire departments were dispatched to the scene of a reported 3-vehicle crash with injuries.
PennDOT says no estimated reopen time is available at this time.
