State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a report of a scam.
Troopers say the scam was reported on Friday and occurred a location along East Main Street in Big Run Borough.
Police say an 86-year-old Big Run woman was scammed out of a large amount of money for fraudulent reasons.
The investigation is ongoing.
