After having to cancel last year’s event, Run/Walk for Someone Special is planning its return this fall.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, Pat Mowrey informed Sykesville Borough Council at its latest meeting that 2020 would have marked 41 years for the event, which raises funds for Camp Friendship, a free summer camp for people with disabilities.
Mowrey said the Run/Walk event has set a tentative date for September 19.
