
Police say a Brookville man was jailed last Wednesday for making threats against his children.
Brookville Borough Police say a 35-year-old Brookville man was arrested for terroristic threats and related offenses following an investigation. Police say they other agencies provided information, including videos showing the man making threats against his children. The videos allegedly show the man threatening to kill the children and to commit other violent crimes toward other relatives and medical professionals.
The man was lodged in Jefferson county Jail with charges pending. The name of the suspect was not released.

Marion Center and Perry Township firefighters were dispatched early Sunday morning to a reported accident along Route 119 in North Mahoning Township of Indiana County.
According to WCCSRadio.com, the call was made around 1:10 am after a vehicle left the highway and stuck a building, causing extensive damage.
The Marion Center fire department reports there were injuries.
No further details have been released yet.

A tractor-trailer driver and his passenger were injured in a crash that occurred early Thursday morning on I-80 in Brookville Borough.
State Police in DuBois say the crash occurred just after 5:00 am when a tractor-trailer driven by 34-year-old Nusrattilo Artikov, of Toledo, Ohio was traveling near Exit 78. Police say the tractor-trailer failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and traveled off the highway into the median before coming to final rest in a ditch.
Artikov and his passenger, 42-year-old Mansur Tokhirov, of Toledo Ohio, suffered injuries of unknown severity.
Artikov was transported to Penn Highlands by Jefferson County EMS while Tokhirov was taken to UPMC Presbyterian.

Police say a man was airlifted following a semi-truck crash that occurred on I-80 in Pine Creek Township of Jefferson County Saturday evening.
State Police in DuBois say the crash occurred near mile-maker 88 when a semi-truck driven by 57-year-old Wieslaw Gierula, of Derby, Conn., went off the side of road for unknown reasons and struck several small trees before hitting and embankment. Police say Gierula suffered suspected serious injuries and was flown to UPMC Altoona by STAT MedEvac for treatment.
One lane of I-80 eastbound was shut down for clean-up. Jefferson County EMA Director Tracy Zents and Jefferson County Hazmat were called to the scene for a small fuel leak. Falls Creek and Reynoldsville Fire Departments assisted at the scene along with Dusan Ambulance Service.
