Punxsutawney Borough has recently be approved for a state grant totaling nearly $119,000 to study the Mahoning Creek levee system.
Santik talks about what the study will accomplish and how it will benefit the community.
Santik said they are planning to wait till the dredging is done to conduct the study. He expects the dredging to start sometime in May.
