
38-year-old Nathan Lauer of Punxsutawney who went missing Saturday at a campground in Gilpin Township of Armstrong County has not been found yet – as of the publication time of multiple news sources this morning.
Police say Lauer was last seen swimming in the Allegheny River at about 7:30 am on Saturday.
Lauer is white, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing only black shorts and black sneakers.
Anyone with information on Lauer’s whereabouts is asked to contact State Police in Kittanning at 724-543-2011.

A Punxsutawney man was jailed following a report of an assault that occurred Friday night in Young Township of Jefferson County.
State Police in Punxsutawney were dispatched to a location along Scotland Avenue Extension for a report of an assault that occurred around 8:45 pm on Friday. Police say a 32-year-old Punxsutawney man was subsequently taken into custody and transported to Jefferson County Jail for Simple Assault, Strangulation, and Harassment. Police say a 30-year-old Punxsutawney woman, listed as the victim, is also being charged with Trespass and Harassment.
Names of the individuals were not released.

State Police in Punxsutawney are currently investigating an incident of identity theft that reportedly occurred sometime between April 25 and May 17 in Bell Township of Jefferson County.
Troopers say an unknown person attempted to use a 76-year-old Punxsutawney man’s information to file for unemployment compensation.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
