
State Police in Ridgway released the identity of a man killed in a crash involving and ATV and a passenger vehicle in Elk County Sunday evening.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, 34-year-old Mark A. Rhines of Saint Marys, suffered fatal injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Markert Road near State Route 1003 in Jones Township of Elk County. Police say Rhines was driving and ATV when he moved to the middle of the road for unknown reasons and struck the a car driven by 30-year-old Cory A Canella, of Saint Marys. Police say Rhines was then thrown from the ATV.
Police say the investigation in to the crash in ongoing.

No injuries were reported following a one-vehicle crash on I80 in Brookville Borough Tuesday afternoon.
State Police in DuBois say a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Juan Palmer of Oklahoma, struck the end of the North Fork Bridge parapet wall. Troopers say the crash occurred when Palmer was negotiating a curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Brookville and Pine Creek Fire Departments assisted on scene.

Charges related to sending explicit images to a minor were withdrawn this week after state police learned they had misidentified the person who was accused.
Police initially filed charges against Brandy Sue Pierce at the address of 22 Short Street in Falls Creek. Police learned later that they had mistaken her for another person by the same name. In a release issued Tuesday, State Police in DuBois note they were given and incorrect address. Police say all other information in the criminal compliant was otherwise correct except for the address.
The charges will be refiled against the individual the victim accused and who was interviewed by state police.

A 17-year-old Clymer girl was injured in a three-vehicle crash in Green Township of Indiana County on June 1.
State Police Indiana say a vehicle, driven by Deseray Fisher, of Smicksburg, hit another vehicle driven by Joseph Bolette and pushed into into a third vehicle driven by Brian Plows of Cherry Tree.
Troopers say, the Clymer girl, a passenger in Fisher’s vehicle, sustained an arm injury and was later treated at IRMC.
