
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is offering advice on ways to keep cool while keeping energy costs down during the heat wave such as using a fan.
Dave Hixson, spokesman for the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, says there are also other ways people can keep cool while keeping energy costs down.
Hixson says the region’s power transmission organization PJM has indicated that the power grid is in good shape to meet increased demand for power created by more air conditioner use during the heat wave.
