
A Jefferson County man is charged with over 300 counts of child pornography.
According to today’s edition of the Punxsutawney Spirit, 64-year-old Edward Forest Frank of Reynoldsville faces 315 counts of child pornography following an investigation that started over three years ago. The published reports says one of the items is a video where the victim’s estimated age is between 10 to 12 years. Frank is in the Jefferson County Jail with the preliminary hearing set for July 30th.

A tractor trailer bottomed out in Jefferson County, again.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports the incident happened yesterday afternoon on Bells Mills-Cloe Road when a freightliner made the attempt to turn left onto Route 36. The published report says, this was the first time a big rig bottomed out following the posting of warnings signs indicating for them not to turn left.
Punxsy VFD’s and PennDOT were on the scene and PSP cleared the area around 5:15 pm.

PA State Police Based in Punxsutawney have released more information about the accident injuring two teens in Chest Township of Clearfield County.
PSP say on June 27th around 8 pm the 17-year-old driver from Cherry Tree was traveling south on Westover road and lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree head on. He and his 16 year old male passenger were transported to Altoona Hospital for treatment of injuries.
