Brookville Area School District Superintendent Erich May said money from the American Rescue Plan fund will go to after school programs.
That’s in today’s edition of The Punxsutawney Spirit, citing Monday nights Brookville Area School Board meeting, where the announcement was made that 20 percent of the ARP funds must be spent on addressing the issue of learning loss.
The published reports continued with Superintendent May who said, the program would allow students K through 6th to stay after school until 6 pm from Monday through Thursday, where they can have a snack, get help with homework or join an activity.
