Punxsutawney native Scott North is officially one of the three Jefferson County Commissioners.
In today’s edition of The Punxsutawney Spirit, during their reorganization meeting last Thursday, Herb Bullers was chosen to be chairman and introduced North as their newest member.
The published report says North was honored to be chosen to replace Jack Matson, who resigned to take a position out of state.
