During the Young Township Supervisors meeting, they continued talking about hiring the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department for coverage.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the Pennsylvania State Police based in Punxsutawney would still be covering the region and at this time any proposed fee by the state to municipalities is on the back burner due to money from the American Recovery Plan for COVID 19.
