Results from Tuesday’s elections show Republican victories for seats on the three appellate courts.
In the race for state Supreme Court, unofficial returns reported by the PA Department of State show Republican Kevin Brobson the declared winner with 52 percent of the vote, compared to 47.3 percent for Democrat Maria McLoughlin.
In the race for Superior Court, Republican Megan Sullivan defeated Democrat Timika Lane, 55 to 44 percent.
In the race for Commonwealth Court the results were a bit closer. In a four-way contest, Republican Stacy Wallace emerged the winner with only 27 percent of the vote, edging out her opponents, including incumbent Republican Judge Drew Crompton.
