The mothers of two unsupervised children have been charged with child endangerment following an incident on March 10th in Jefferson County.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, a couple kids ran into the middle of Beyer Avenue in Punxsutawney causing the heavy traffic to break for them. Borough Police found the children and located their mothers, who were together in an apartment, and according to the published report, one was on house arrest and the other had conditioner in her hair and told the officers she could not go outside to supervise them.
Jefferson County Children and Youth Services was contacted, and a case worker was dispatched.
