Troopers stationed at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Punxsutawney responded to a collision between a motor vehicle and an Amish buggy in Jefferson County.
The crash occurred on Wednesday morning around 5:45, when 34 year old Dane Dicker of Punxsutawney was traveling north on East Min Street in Big Run when, according to police, his vehicle struck an Amish buggy from the rear, causing all of the occupants to be ejected.
The driver of the buggy, 32 year old Johnny Schlabach of Big Run, and his passenger, 24 year old Mevin Byler of Punxsutawney, were flown from the crash site by Stat MedEvac to UPMC Altoona for treatment of serious injuries.
