A Templeton man was killed Friday evening in a dirt bike accident in Pine Township, Armstrong County.
Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers says 26-year-old Brandon Weaver was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle on state route 1030, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The accident happened about a half-mile from Templeton.
Weaver was a volunteer firefighter with the Pine Township-Templeton Fire Department. No autopsy will be performed and toxicology results are pending.
