The Punxsutawney Hunting Club and the Pitch Pine Hunting Club hired representation and filed a suit against the Pennsylvania Game Commission, accusing them of using their cameras on private property without a warrant.
According to WJAC News, their attorneys say the goal of this lawsuit is to challenge the Open Fields Doctrine in Pennsylvania, which allows authorities access to any open fields without a warrant, or even probable cause.
The Game Commission declined to comment.
