People all over the county will be taking part in National Night Out with block parties and cookouts, and locally the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department will be hosting its event in Barclay Square tonight.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports National Night Out was created to promote police-community partnerships to support health and safety.
Police Chief Matt Conrad, according to the published report, said there will be 20 to 30 organizations providing information on what services they provide, including activities for kids. That’s tonight from 5 to 8 at Barclay Square.
