Yesterday representatives from Penn Highlands Healthcare and the Jefferson County community held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Punxsutawney Community Medical Building.
The new facility will offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, pediatric care, QCare walk-in clinic, and a drive-thru pharmacy.
Community members are encouraged to attend the Aug. 13 open house to see the state-of-the-art building firsthand on Route 119 across from Wall Mart. General Manager Stevette Rosen for Renda Radio in Punxsutawney was at the ribbon cutting event.
