Two inmates at the Jefferson County Jail are now facing charges following a physical altercation.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, both were charged with, simple assault and harassment; however, one was also charged with strangulation.
The published report adds, Pennsylvania State Police from the Punxsutawney barracks were called to the jail shortly after 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and staff members showed them surveillance video of the altercation, which had occurred roughly an hour earlier.
