Jefferson County employees will see an increase in pay next year.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the Jefferson County Salary Board made some changes last week at its final meeting of 2022.
Today’s edition of the Spirit reports the board approved a motion to increase the salary by 50 cents per hour for all non-union employees, 1.016130 percent increase for all elected officials and a motion to set the mileage reimbursement rate at 50 cents per mile.
All changes will take effect on January first.
