The results of two surveys were presented to the Punxsutawney Area School Board at last Thursday’s meeting.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, the focus of the Pennsylvania Youth Survey is identifying problem behaviors and the root cause so officials can make informed decisions about some of the services needed in the school.
The Pupil Attitudes to Self and School survey, the published report adds, is used to proactively identify potential barriers to learning and build upon the positive characteristics.
Both surveys are voluntary.
