It may seem like a slight change, but that change represents a lot of hard work, dedication, and excellence.
Jeff Tech’s online presence now has the designation .edu.
Sam Bundy has this report: “Adult Education Coordinator Megan Bundy said that .edu is a reserved domain designation that is managed by the U.S. Department of Education. In order to be eligible, the institution must be accredited. Jeff Tech was accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in September of last year.”
Bundy added that this designation is solely in the higher education world. K-12 schools are not eligible. Jeff Tech is the ninth tech school in the state to have this designation. Jeff T received final approval for the full conversion to .edu in January.
A full roll out will come this summer.
