More details emerge about the shooting early Sunday morning in DuBois.
WTAJ News reports, Clearfield County DA Ryan Sayers and DuBois Police Chief Blaine Clark announced that the shooter was Zachery Dodson of Clearfield, an off-duty police officer with the Curwensville Borough Police Department and a deputy sheriff with the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department.
Dodson faces several charges, including felony aggravated assault, and is in the Jefferson County Jail.
The victim, according to the published report, was Ani Myrtaj, who had a gunshot wound to the face was flown to UPMC Altoona before being flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh is reported to be in stable condition.
