The Pennsylvania Game Commission released its yearly report for the whitetail deer hunting season.
In Wildlife Management Unit 2D – which covers all of Armstrong County, along with portions of Indiana, Jefferson, Clarion, and Westmoreland County – led all Pennsylvania with approximately 14,000 antlered deer harvested, while 23,000 antlerless deer were reported. Meanwhile, in WMU 2E – which covers the other half of Indiana County, along with portions of Cambria, Clearfield, and Jefferson County – 6,700 antlered deer and 10,600 antlerless deer were harvested.
