During last evening’s DuBois City Council meeting, a resident raised concerns over a 2018 land deal.
WTAJ News reports, Ronald Trazyna claims that the council only purchased 7.7 acres instead of the agreed 26, which were split into three parcels and sold despite the owner’s having never agreeing to dividing the land. Trazyna also noted that the GPA Group LLC, sold 10 of the acres to John Suplizio for only one dollar. The published report added, the council stated that its focus was to protect the watershed from vehicles and that a forensic financial analysis of the city’s accounts would be conducted on June 5 and could last up to a year.
