A Spring Church man died in a crash on Route 156 in South Bend Township on Tuesday.
State police say that 22-year-old Nicholas DiFilippo, Jr. was driving East when for an unknown reason, his car crossed into the opposite lane and collided nearly head on with a truck driven by Jacob Edge of Wilmore. DiFilippo was declared dead at the scene, while Edge suffered suspected minor injuries and was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center.
