Former DuBois police chief Blaine Clark has sued several city officials, seeking over $300,000 in damages.
According to WJAC News, the lawsuit, filed in Clearfield County, alleges that Clark was wrongfully fired in April after being placed on administrative leave. He claims he was investigating misconduct by city officials before his termination. The suit names the city, two councilmembers, the mayor, a former interim city manager, and the assistant police chief as defendants. Clark’s legal team has requested a jury trial.
