A New Jersey man was charged on Wednesday after violating provisions of mail-in ballots.
Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi said 63-year-old Richard Lack faces a felony charge of violations regarding obtaining absentee or mail-in ballots, as well as a misdemeanor charge of providing false documents. After the ballot was flagged by staff members, an investigation revealed Lack allegedly applied for a mail-in ballot for his deceased mother. Manzi said Lack, who was a registered voter in Indiana County before moving to New Jersey, utilized his own phone number, e-mail address and other related information, and forged his mother’s signature on the application.
