In the latest Fall Foliage report, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources says our area has passed its peak color like most of the commonwealth.
There are 22 counties in the southeastern and southwestern regions starting to see their fall colors fade. DCNR officials say in a Facebook post that dry conditions, cold nights and windy days have swiftly taken leaves off Pennsylvania’s trees, but many areas in the south are still showcasing vibrant fall colors.
