State police have released more details regarding a crash Friday morning in White Township that left one person injured.
Troopers say they were summoned to a one-vehicle crash in the area near Route 119 and 286 East in White Township around 10:37 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Isabella Ruth of Brockway had hit an icy patch in the roadway, causing her vehicle to strike a concrete barrier before coming to rest in the eastbound lane. Ruth suffered a suspected minor injury and was evaluated on-scene by Citizens’ Ambulance personnel before being taken to IRMC for treatment.
Her car sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
