A 32 year-old Sykesville woman, Rosalind Amanda Gursky, faces felony aggravated assault charges after allegedly attempting to cut a man’s throat during an argument on February 18.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, police responded to a Grant Street home around 4:14 a.m., finding the man with cuts on his arm and shoulder. A 4½-inch paring knife was recovered. Authorities say, Gursky whispered, “I can’t have you, then no one will” before fleeing the scene.
Gursky was later charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, and other offenses. Gursky is held in Jefferson County Jail on $100,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for February 26.
