A 41-year-old Reynoldsville man, Sean Yoder, faces multiple charges after allegedly firing a revolver into his ceiling, believing people in the attic were plotting against his family.
ExploreJeffersonPa.com reports that officers responded to a North 8th Street home on February 27 after reports of gunfire. They found spent .22 caliber casings and drywall damage. Yoder, who admitted to using meth the night before, had a history of paranoid behavior, including allegedly pointing a gun at his former wife while she slept.
A family member had taken an AR-15 from him earlier that morning, and police later confirmed he was prohibited from owning firearms due to a prior DUI conviction. He remains in Jefferson County Jail on $75,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for March 11.
