The idenity of the 19-year-old Brookville man who was killed in a crash has been released.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, Jacob “Jake” Popson died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 36 in Jefferson County on March 16. State Police say he lost control of his Volkswagen Passat, which left the road and struck multiple objects.
Popson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 2024 Brookville High School graduate, he worked as a self-contractor. He is survived by his mother, siblings, and grandparents and was preceded in death by his father.
