The Brookville Borough Police Department, with the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, seized more than $9,000 worth of crystal meth, a stolen 9mm pistol with more than 100 rounds of ammunition, more than $2,000 in cash and numerous other controlled substances in a drug bust.
The Brookville PD says, between March 1 through the 14th, multiple control buys of meth from a residence along North White Street led to five people being identified as dealing and supplying large amounts of various controlled substances.
Three people have been charged through the Magistrate’s Office earlier this year without public release for safety reasons. Two additional people were indicted in Federal Court on June 12 in connection with a larger trafficking ring.
