Punxsutawney State Police say on man was injured and transported to UPMC in Altoona following a crash in Gaskill Twp Monday evening.
Investigators allege 75-year-old Leonard Weaver of Punxsutawney was driving too fast, lost control of his car on Robertsville Road near the intersection of Lipp Road, slid thru the intersection and hit an embankment.
Troopers say he sustained multiple injuries and was flown to UPMC/Altoona. No word was given on the severity of the injuries.
Troopers indicate Weaver was not wearing a seat belt. He was cited for not driving at a safe speed.
