The DuBois City Council reorganized at its meeting on Monday evening following the resignation of Mayor Randy Schmidt last week.
According to The Courier Express, council member Ed Walsh, who served as Vice President, was appointed Mayor, who is a voting member and serves as the DuBois Council President.
The published report says, four of the five council seats will be on the municipal election ballot next year.
