There were three crashes in the Punxsutawney area yesterday.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the first two occurred around two in the afternoon with only one vehicle sustaining heavy damage, and no reported injuries. The third accident, the published report says happened around Clark Terrace, when a truck and an SUV collided causing heavy damage to both vehicles.
Central, Lindsay and Elk Run VFDs were on the scene assisting the the Borough Police and the Jefferson County EMS.
