Dating back to more than 2,000 years, the festival of Samhain, or Halloween, will be next Saturday and, yes, there is trick or treating.
If you’re handing out candy, make sure you turn the outside light on next to the front door of your place.
Looking locally:
Punxsutawney – the parade starts at 6, followed by trick or treating from 6:30 until 8.
Brockway – it’s from 2 until 5.
Most places are trick or treating from 6 until 8, including DuBois, Falls Creek, New Bethlehem, Knox and Clarion.
