A Punxsutawney woman was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment of injuries following an accident involving a deer in Winslow Township of Jefferson County.
Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois report the crash happened just after midnight on November 30th when a deer entered Route 322 West and struck a compact SUV driven by 45-year-old Valerie Gaston.
Gaston was taken to the hospital by the Reynoldsville Ambulance Service and her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
