Two Clearfield Area parents have been charged with alleged child abuse. Gant News Agency says, the parents are 33-year-old Andre Maurice Sheffey and 34-year-old Savannah Grove.
According to police information, Sheffey took their baby to Penn Highlands hospital in October because the baby was ill and had fallen off the couch and hit his head.
The baby was flown to UPMC Children’s Hospital where doctors concluded the babies injuries were from physical abuse and head trauma.
Grove reportedly never took the baby for any treatment of multiple injuries and left him in the care of Sheffey.
Both Sheffey and Grove are lodged in Clearfield County Jail.
