Jefferson County reported one additional death and 11 new COVID-19 cases as of Monday Dec. 28, bringing the county’s case total to 1,812.
According to the PA Department of Health, in the last two days the state reported 8,663 positive cases of coronavirus bringing the statewide total to 613,804.
There are 5,905 people hospitalized with COVID-19 and of those 1,145 are in intensive care.
