The Jefferson County Housing Authority staff will work remotely through February due to the surge in coronavirus cases.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, Housing Authority Executive Director Sandra McGuire says they made the decision based on the safety of their employees and tenants.
Although the office on 201 N. Jefferson Street in Punxsutawney is closed to the public, staff members can always be reached through telephone or email.
