
A Karthaus man was jailed after a 12-hour police standoff on Christmas Eve when he allegedly fired a round from a firearm that struck the ground in front of four troopers.
According to Gant News, 46-year-old Shannon Quick is facing a criminal attempt murder of a law enforcement officer charge among other related charges after Pennsylvania State Police attempted to take Quick into custody on active warrants following a complaint from a female victim alleging that Quick had threatened her.
Quick is lodged in Clearfield County Jail. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 30.
