Jefferson County has reported 17 additional coronavirus cases as of Jan. 4.
According to the PA Department of Health, the county’s total case number has reached 1,968 and the death toll remains at 46.
Statewide there are 3,226 additional cases of COVID-19 bringing the states total to 665,097.
PA hospitals began receiving shipments of the Pfizer and Moderna coronavirus vaccines in December.
Through Jan. 3, 135,044 doses of the vaccine have been administered.
