Robert Barger of Emlenton is facing charges from a Friday night crash.
Reports say Barger was driving a Hyundai Elantra when he entered I-80 westbound traveling east. Barger went about a quarter-mile down the interstate the wrong way before he hit a pickup. Barger then continued on for about another quarter-mile before leaving on foot.
Clintonville assistant fire chief was on his way to the crash, when he spotted Barger walking along the interstate about a mile from the crash site. He detained Barger until police arrived.
The crash is reportedly DUI-related, and charges are pending on the toxicology reports.
