
Three people were transported to Punxsutawney Area Hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Henderson Township of Jefferson County on Saturday.
State Police in Punxsutawney say a 22-year-old Big Run man was traveling on Route 119 near Paradise Road when he failed to see a stopped vehicle waiting to turn. He passed the stopped vehicle to avoid hitting it and struck another vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Clearfield man who had passenger in the vehicle also of Clearfield.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.
Jefferson County EMS, Sykesville Ambulance, and Big Run Fire Department assisted at the scene.
