State Police in Punxsutawney arrested a 41-year-old Punxsutawney man following a traffic stop in Punxsutawney on Monday.
Troopers say they stopped the vehicle on West Mahoning Street near Mulberry Alley for an equipment violation around 11:30 p.m. During the stop, police observed signs of impairment and took the driver into custody for suspicion of DUI.

State Police in Indiana have released their monthly statistical information report.
According to the report, 194 criminal offenses were reported, 143 were cleared, and there were 149 criminal arrests.
Troop A reported 72 vehicle crashes, no fatal crashes, 27 injuries, and six hit and run incidents.
There were 8 DUI related crashes, 26 DUI related arrests, and no DUI related fatalities for the month of January.
