The Punxsutawney Area School District announced three new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. There were two at the high school and one at the elementary school. The students and their identified close contacts are under quarantine.
Jefferson County reported nine new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths Feb. 3rd.
According to the PA Department of Health, the county’s total case count has reached 2,564 and the death toll is at 77.
Clearfield County reported 37 new cases and two new deaths while Indiana reported 19 new cases and no additional deaths.
Statewide, there were 3,128 additional positive cases of coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to case count 853,616.
