
A Reynoldsville man is facing multiple charges for allegedly creating a mobile meth lab.
According to GANT News, 39-year-old Scott Kline Jr. has been charged for allegedly operating a meth lab and reportedly possessing red phosphorous or precursor substance with intention to manufacture a controlled substance.
An officer pulled Kline over on Jan. 29 for an expired inspection sticker while he was traveling on North Franklin Street in DuBois. Police say Kline appeared anxious and reportedly told the officer he was on parole for operating a meth lab in 2014. The officer asked to search the vehicle. Kline consented and the officer reportedly located a box with bottles containing suspected gasoline, and solvents such as fire igniter and starting fluid, and a can of table salt. The officer also reportedly discovered when appeared to be contents of a failed attempt at making meth and other related drug paraphernalia.
Kline was taken into custody and is being held at Clearfield County Jail in lieu of monetary bail.
A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 19

A 45-year-old Uniontown woman was arrested following a traffic stop in Punxsutawney Friday.
Troopers say they stopped the vehicle near the intersection of North Findley Street and Cherry Street and noticed visual indicators of suspected drug-related impairment while speaking with the driver. Troopers conducted a battery of field sobriety tests and subsequently placed her under arrest.
Police list a 23-year-old Punxsutawney man as a victim in the report and noted that the investigation is ongoing.

State Police in Marienville are investigating a burglary that occurred in Heath Township of Jefferson County.
Police say the burglary happened sometime between Dec. 5 and Feb. 6, on State Route 949, in Heath Township. Troopers say a door frame was damaged during the incident and listed the victim as a 74-year-old Ohio man.
The investigation is ongoing.

Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Henderson Township of Jefferson County on Thursday.
Troopers say the crash occurred on Route 119 near Kramer Road when a 31-year-old Punxsutawney woman rear ended a vehicle driven by a 18-year-old Luthersburg woman. Both drivers were taken to Penn Highlands hospital for suspected minor injuries. All three passengers in the Punxsutawney woman’s vehicle were unhurt.
Big Run and Sykesville Area Fire Departments assisted with traffic control.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene and the Punxsutawney woman was cited for following too closely.
